Video Workshop: How EMV Changes Payment

EMV migration in the U.S. requires issuers, acquirer/processors and merchants to change their payments infrastructure to issue EMV cards and accept EMV payment transactions. The Smart Card Alliance held the “How EMV Changes Payment Workshop” on February 4, 2013 to provide an in-depth educational resource for the industry. The workshop includes discussion of what changes issuers and acquirers/processors need to make, how the EMV testing and certification processes differ from current processes, how retailers can plan for EMV migration, and what transit agencies need to consider in migration. Speakers include industry experts from the Smart Card Alliance Payments Council and EMV Migration Forum.
